Triumph Academy
School has started back up and with that come some concerns for some parents and students. All students can learn, given the right environment. At Triumph Academy, the goal for students is to graduate from High School with a full Diploma. Teachers at Triumph Academy work closely with each student and do all they can to ensure success.
Triumph Academy’s mission and commitment is to provide an individual education in which students with both academic and emotional needs can be served and thrive successfully. All students can learn if given the proper environment, care, and tools; thus, Triumph Academy is committed to:
- Provide individualized testing
- Individual curriculum planning
- Create a safe, meaningful and positive space for learning success
- Incorporate technology into the classroom: Smart Boards, Tablets, Laptops, Web application
- Athletics
- Life Skills
Curriculum is tailored to each student as they enter the program at different levels and abilities. Our teachers are trained to evaluate and treat issues of low motivation, credit deficiency, academic and behavioral disabilities and learning gaps. Triumph Academy is committed to providing the best learning environment possible. Upon graduation students receive a diploma specifically from Triumph Academy, which allows colleges and employers to see the private education without the residential treatment directly attached. Triumph Academy works closely with all school districts on the specific needs of students. In discussion with the treatment team and parents, students will be given the opportunity to complete their final credits with their school of residence. This allows Out of State students the benefit of in-state tuition if they decide to go to college close to home. Triumph Academy employs direct instruction based teaching with a high level of student involvement. Student learning comes alive with kinesthetic, hands-on activities, real life application, and student-centered planning. Our state certified core teachers are trained in what they teach and make learning fun and motivating. Triumph utilizes a Team approach, where clinical, residential and academics work together. This team approach helps each student to succeed while they are in our care and long after they leave the program. All students can succeed and will be given the opportunity to do so!
