At Triumph Youth Services, we offer a structured and supportive residential treatment environment where youth begin their journey with a dedicated orientation period. This initial phase helps students adjust to the program while giving our team time to understand each individual’s needs and strengths. Using the Positive Peer Culture (PPC) model, students engage in peer-led groups, receive daily structure, and benefit from consistent mentoring. Progress is monitored through both academic performance (GPA) and behavioral growth (Behavior Point Average or BPA), ensuring that students are supported in making meaningful, lasting changes in all areas of their development.
Triumph Youth Services offers a small, campus-style residential program designed to meet each student’s individual needs. Our two self-sufficient facilities—each with dedicated staff, kitchens, and living areas—are located near one another in Northern Utah, creating a safe, intimate setting. We maintain a 1:4 direct care staff-to-student ratio, with additional support from therapists, teachers, and administrators who are actively involved in daily supervision and care.
Each student has a dedicated “staff mentor” who works closely with their therapist and program coordinator, providing consistent support and guidance throughout the program. Staff members are carefully selected, background-checked, and professionally trained in safety protocols, CPR/First Aid, and youth development. We prioritize hiring role models who are caring, capable, and committed to maintaining professional boundaries and positive relationships with the youth we serve.
We believe success comes from building both character and competence. Triumph Youth Services emphasizes personal responsibility through daily chores, hygiene routines, and shared responsibilities. Our students learn critical life skills, develop strong work ethics, and gain confidence through hands-on participation. We also promote community service and regular volunteer projects to instill a spirit of giving back. Recreation is equally vital—our youth take part in sports, outdoor adventures, and cultural outings, learning that joy, connection, and accomplishment are key to a healthy life.
Triumph Youth Services is fully licensed as a Residential Treatment Facility by the Utah Department of Health and Human Services, Office of Licensing. We have operated under full licensure since our founding in 1998 and continue to meet all state requirements through annual renewals, routine audits, and site visits by licensing specialists. Triumph Youth Services is also CARF-accredited.
Our programs adhere strictly to the Utah Core and Categorical Rules for treatment, ensuring a safe, compliant, and therapeutically sound environment for the youth we serve.
In addition, Triumph Academy is proudly accredited by Cognia, a globally recognized education accreditation agency. Our academic program has maintained full accreditation since 2000, offering students a structured, standards-based education while in treatment.
